Portrait of Yoshi
A note from the writer

I keep not leaving this city.

I'm writing this from the corner table at a kissaten on Hatchobori-dori. The coffee is not particularly good. The chair is too low. I keep coming back. Most English-language coverage of Hiroshima stops at the Peace Park and maybe an okonomiyaki recommendation, and the city I actually live in is so much bigger than that.

What you'll find here are stories from someone who eats here, drinks here, and walks home through these streets every night. Nothing is sponsored, automatically translated, or copied from a guidebook.
