A note from the writer

Hi — I'm Ari.

I don't think we've been introduced. My name is Yoshinari, but most people call me Ari, so please feel free to do the same. I grew up in Tokyo and now live in Hiroshima, where I work in restaurants and spend most of my free time walking the city and looking for the next small bar I have not been to yet.

Explore Hiroshima is where I write down the city I see every day. I drink more coffee than I probably should, I have a soft spot for natural wine, and on a day off you are most likely to find me in a sauna in Hatchobori. If we cross paths somewhere in town, please say hello — I would genuinely love to chat.
