A note from the writer

Hi, I'm Ari.

I live in Hiroshima and work in restaurants, so most nights I'm on the busy side of a counter. I played soccer from elementary school all the way through high school and still can't sit still for long. On a day off I'm usually walking across the city or sitting in a sauna somewhere around Hatchobori.

This site is what I'd tell a friend who's coming to visit: where to eat, how to get around, and which parts of the city are worth slowing down for. If something here is out of date, email me. I'd rather fix it than have you find out at a closed door.
